There’s something magical about weddings at Sacred Oaks at Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs, Texas. Tucked under ancient oak trees, this venue creates a romantic backdrop for couples who want their day to feel timeless, intimate, and full of natural beauty. Recently, I had the honor of being the second shooter for Olivia and Tyler’s stunning wedding — and their day was filled with so much love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

The Ceremony Under the Oaks

Sacred Oaks is known for its breathtaking ceremony space, where the oak trees seem to wrap every couple in warmth and light. Olivia and Tyler exchanged vows beneath the branches, surrounded by their closest family and friends. One of the most magical parts of Camp Lucy is the golden fields that surround the property. As the sun set, Olivia and Tyler shared a quiet moment together while I captured them in the golden Texas light. These cinematic portraits are some of my favorites — soft, warm, and filled with emotion.

After the ceremony, guests gathered in the beautifully designed reception space. With its timber architecture and warm lighting, the Sacred Oaks hall is perfect for an elegant yet cozy celebration. Olivia and Tyler shared their first dance on the black-and-white checkered floor as their guests looked on — it was the perfect mix of romance and joy.

Why I Love Being a Second Shooter

As a second photographer, I get the chance to capture different angles, candid moments, and the in-between details that couples may not notice in the moment.
